Event to Honor Special Guests Dame Helen Boehm and Bill Ylvisaker with Clara Barton Award
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (February 15, 2008) – Charity Meets Chukkers as the American Red Cross Greater Palm Beach Area Chapter celebrates their 18th Annual Polo Luncheon & Auction on March 9.
This spectacular event, held at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington—one of the foremost equestrian facilities in the world— will begin at 11:30 a.m. Champagne, authentic Brazilian Caipirinhas and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The silent auction will feature a collection of unique International items. Exotic cars and super cabs by Freightliner will also be on display.
Following the silent auction, IPC’s exclusive new chef, Aaron Menitoff, owner of Aaron’s Catering, will have a beautiful lunch prepared for guests to enjoy. Live entertainment will be provided by The Tito Puente, Jr. Orchestra. Veranda VIP seating will be provided for the 26-goal Piaget Gold Cup Match with fresh beignets, coffee, full bar and hand-rolled cigars.
