$215,000 Raised to Fund Community Initiatives and Disaster Relief
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 28, 2008) – The 2008 Red Cross Designers’ Show House, held January 17 – March 9, 2008, was a spectacular success with attendance of more than 4,000 visitors to the luxury oceanfront condo at 2700 North Ocean on Singer Island. The Show House was a unique collaboration of sixteen acclaimed designers and landscape architects who transformed the 9,180-square-foot Tower Suite room-by-room, showcasing their individual styles.
“Every year the designers get more creative and take it to the next level with their talent,” said Desmond Keogh, General Chairman of the Show House. “This year’s show house made history – with it being held in a condominium for the first time, a remarkable Saturday Style series featuring Lilly Pulitzer, and most importantly, the community’s tremendous support of the Red Cross.”
The seven-week event that opened with a Preview Party with over 300 attendees featured the work of Linda Ashley, Diane Cantone, Joseph Cortes, Nancy Corzine, Virginia Courtenay, Jennifer Garrigues Interior Designs, Cristina Keogh, Halleon, Debra McLaughlin, Richard Plumer Design, Lon Morris, Angela Reynolds, Scott Robertson, Mario Nievera Design, RZ Design Group and Kristi Lei Bryan. Taking inspiration from both the theme, Palm Beach Style, and Show House Honorary Chairwoman, Lilly Pulitzer, the designers succeeded at creating the ultimate in oceanfront Palm Beach living.
