FAST FACTS:      The Count & Countess de Hoernle Service Center first opened in 1970 to serve the communities in southern Palm Beach County. Initially, the service center was staffed solely by volunteers. Today, a team of four employed staff members joins approximately 200 south county volunteers to provide programs and services south of Hypoluxo Road including Boca Raton, Boynton Beach and Delray Beach. Renovation of the facility was completed in fall 2008 to increase overall office space, training room capacity, and storage and supply staging areas.
