15th Annual North County Mad Hatters Luncheon and Fashion Show on April 5

West Palm Beach, FL (March 25, 2008)
—It’s hats off to another year of fun and charity, as the American Red Cross North County Angels host their 15th Annual Mad Hatters Luncheon at the Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter.

Each year, attendees are asked to create and wear a favorite, fun, festive or funny hat for the themed event and winners will be selected in several categories. The theme for this year’s luncheon will be Around the World in 80 Hats and will be illustrated with décor from different countries and beautiful floral centerpieces from Flower Kingdom. Guests will enjoy a Parade of Hats with winners in various categories including most elegant, best theme oriented, most creative and more.

“With each year, the hats continue to get more creative,” says co-chair Linda Thompson. “The guests enjoy going all out with their designs, and the money raised from this event helps fund important Red Cross programs throughout the area.”

The Mad Hatters Luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will feature a fashion show from Harbor Clothing Boutique, a silent auction, a Lottery Hat, and a Chinese raffle featuring items such as jewelry, art, collectibles, various wine and spirits gift sets, restaurant gift certificates, ladies accessories, home accessories, facial packages, golf foursomes and more. Some of the local businesses that have donated to this event include North Palm Beach Flowers and Gifts, Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club, Tokyo Day Spa & Massage and Lamp Depot.

Tickets are $60 per person. For more information or to purchase tickets, please call
